Ed Sykes and Joy Fisher-Sykes are Featured Speakers at Toastmasters Conference

April 26, 2004 -- Ed Sykes and Joy will be featured speakers at the May 1st meeting of the Toastmasters District 66 Conference at Surfside Oceanfront Inn & Suites, 1211 Atlantic Avenue, Virginia Beach, Va. 23451. The conference registration time is 7:00 – 12:00 p.m. May 1st. The conference starts at 9:00 a.m.

Toastmasters International is the premier non-profit organization with over 175,000 members worldwide dedicated to improving the communication and leadership skills of its members. Toastmasters, in a nurturing club environment, teaches you through a time-tested learning program to overcome your fears of public speaking while making you a more effective leader.

Ed Sykes and Joy Fisher Sykes will be presenting a leadership workshop, "Catch Your Wave to Outstanding Leadership (How to Communicate so Others Follow)," from 10 a.m. to 10:50 a.m. in the Sandbar Room.

During this session you will learn:

	The secrets of effective leadership communication that will empower you to create top performing teams in business
	Initiate change in your community
	Have your club members motivated to "jump out of their seats" to exceed your club goals.

Ed Sykes, co-founder of The Sykes Group, has been motivating and improving people's lives as a trainer, speaker, coach and author for over twenty-two years. Over this time, he has challenged over 25,000 students in the United States, Europe, Asia and the Middle East to become better employees, business owners, and community leaders.
